Implantation of two implants with simultaneous sinus lift

To improve healing outcomes with bone regeneration material, the material is ‘activated’ using Tissue Support.

This special form of hyaluronic acid combines HA’s ultra-hydrophilic properties with the porous structure of bone regeneration material. Following ‘activation’, the surgeon has a putty matrix which is easily applied to the defect. Immediately after positioning this putty-like matrix in the defect, the hyaluronic acid’s hydrophilic properties mean that complete mixing with blood from the defect commences. This creates ideal conditions for successful ossification. Finally, Flex Barrier, a liquid membrane, is used to create a membrane barrier which remains intact for around 3-4 weeks. Flex Barrier thus represents a useful alternative to traditional membrane technologies.

The bacteriostatic and antiseptic properties of hyaluronic acid also reduce the risk of bacterial contamination of the operation site.
