Case Reports: Papilla reconstruction, upper front tooth

Reconstruction of interdental papillae – upper front tooth

Reconstructing natural soft tissue conditions in the interdental papilla region to achieve a natural effect would in the past have required time-consuming and difficult gingivoplasty. Flex Barrier is a novel, cross-linked hyaluronic acid product injected directly into the gingiva.

This can also be performed immediately in the first session of surgery, once the implant has been put in place. The hyaluronic acid supports and has been demonstrated to increase the formation of new fibroblasts. Practitioners thus have available a minimally invasive approach to correcting esthetic problems of this nature, which offers an excellent prognosis.
